Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BakeIQ website at www.bakeiq.ai and the BakeIQ application (collectively, the “Service”), operated by BakeIQ (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@bakeiq.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Free Trial & Subscriptions

We offer a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details are available on our Pricing page.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

3. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service (recipes, ingredients, production plans, orders, etc.). We do not sell your data. We access it only to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and content (excluding your data), is owned by BakeIQ and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of scheduled downtime.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BakeIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 90 days (see our Privacy Policy), after which it is permanently deleted.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
